Review: Recursion by Blake Couch

Recursion is a fun page-turner, but it’s a little too similar to the author’s previous (and excellent) book, Dark Matter. (My review here) Author Blake Couch seems particularly interested in the problem of experiencing alternate lives.

Reality appears to be broken as people are driven mad by sudden memories of lives they’ve never lived but feel completely real. In New York City, Detective Barry Sutton discovers the secret behind these memories, and learns that the problem isn’t in the people’s minds at all.

Recommendation: Read it, unless you’ve just read Dark Matter, in which case, read other books for a few months before coming back to this one.
